Denominational Strife!

Today, we come together to ask for a cessation of
denominational strife among believers and the followers of
faith everywhere.

We seek peace, in spite of differences, big and small.
We want to listen and hear our brothers and sisters.
We want unity and not war among us.

As a child, I was afforded an opportunity to be among a
wide array of believers of God.

My family members are everywhere in denominations, Anglicans, Orthodox,
Catholics, Protestants, missionaries, and anything that has to do
with a love of God and His works. That's what works!
That's what faith is, bringing believers together and not apart.

At birth, I was made part of the Anglican church. Today, I am more or less
an interdenominational protestant. I have more understanding of people's
individual faith systems as time goes on. I value this understanding greatly.

As children, we were also friends with Moslem peoples who lived next door to us
and on our block. When we had our events, everyone was free to attend. Even Hindu
peoples came, because they believed in the story of Jesus.
We were invited by them to their houses also.

Today, I recommend a book: A Vanished World by Chris Lowney.

This you tube video explains why catholics ask Mary to intercede
on their behalf.

Where there is understanding, there is no strife.
Where there is sight, there is true discussion of truths.

An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.
Even Gandhiji would agree. He was considered a true bridge builder,
because he loved all people and people of all faiths. This is why
he didn't want the country to split apart.

So, today, I ask you, what are we all really fighting about?

Is it all worth it, if it's tearing us all apart?

The common consensus: we all would answer the same,
unless we believe only in anarchy!
